Journey Work

Illness can often serve as an ally, when it shows up, to let us know that we are in a harmful environment.  Toxic relationships can lead to depression or other mental or emotional health issues and symptoms. While habits that do not serve us can show up in the form of an illness, where in which the cure shows us the lifestyle choices, we need to adopt to live a more fulfilling life.

Journeying is a form of both inner and outer travel for the purposes of transformation and healing.  During times of illness, we are often removed from the ordinary world and everyday life so that we may find a new way of existing outside of our everyday routines and relationships.

I serve as a guide for journeywork in both chronic physical illness and those suffering with symptoms that make it difficult for them to function in the world. Here sacred space is created for the purpose of looking at oneself and their relationship to their circumstances and the resulting isolation they may experience, in a different way, so that they can gain a fresh perspective of who they are, as they make their way through the transformation to a new way of being.
